Chris Jordan took a hat-trick England’s first in men’s T20s as USA were dismissed for 115 in Barbados, Defending champions England chase their target in just 904 overs and gained excellent run-rate, as captain Jos Buttler ended on a brutal 83 not out, including five sixes in one Harmeet Singh over which cost 31. Earlier Jordan’s hat0trick was part of a run of five wickets in six balls , four taken by the 35-year-0ld who returned figures 4-10
England will play their semi-final either on Wednesday (Thursday 1:30 BST) in Trinidad or Thursday (15:30BST) in Guyana depending on the results of the other group.
Afghanistan upsets Australia by massive shock win

Afghanistan win by 21 runs
Afghanistan who must win to avoid elimination, shocked Australia to keep their T20 World Cup hopes alive, with an historic 21-run win in St Vincent. Afghanistan posted an imposing 148-6 on a challenging surface including an opening stand of 118 between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran. After the partnership was broken Cummins nipped in to claim his own landmark late in the innings. In the chase Australia collapsed 32-3 before Glenn Maxwell’s 35-ball half-century steadied the ship. But Gulbadin Naib removed Marcus Stoinis and Tim David before bowling Maxwell. So Australia collapsed form 106-6 t0 113-9 and Afghanistan sealed a shock victory their first over Australia in any form of cricket in the final over.
Player of the Match Gulbadin said “ We’ve been waiting for a long time, it’s a massive win for us and we have very chance of making the semis”.
Afghanistan are coached by former England batter Jonathan Trott.
Next Australia take on India in St Lucia on Monday 15:30 BST and will likely need a win to progress to the last four.
