Rodri  who was dropped in the 2021 final slots in opener from inside penalty area to beat Inter Milan 1-0. Julian Alvarez finishes the season as City’s second top scorer with 17 goals.  City won the Premier League title by five points from Arsenal, beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final and saw off Inter Milan in the Champions League final. Manchester City won a  third successive Premier League title over  Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. City were confirmed as champions after Nottingham Forest’s win against Arsenal on Saturday, after Manager Pep Guardiola made nine changes from the side that thrashed Real Madrid to reach the Champions League final. Erling Haaland was rested although Julian Alvarez made no mistake to put City ahead after 12 minutes.
