Vondrousova first unseeded player to win Women’s Wimbledon title

M Vondrousova bt O. Jabeur. 6-4, 6-4 Marketa Vondrousova(24), from Czech Republic,  made history by becoming the first unseeded player to win the Women’s title at Wimbledon Centre Court, and said “ I think I’m going to have some beer maybe”. Four-time defending champion Novak Djokovic (36) marches into Wimbledon semi-finals after beating  seventh seed Andrey Rublev 4:6, 6:1, 6:4, 6:3 and plays Italy’s  Jannik Sinner(21),  on Friday 14 Jul at Centre Court.
