A new play at the Royal Court in London is set to explore World’s No 1 storyteller, Roald Dahl’s legacy and contradictions. Giant by Mark Rosenblatt takes place over the imagined course of an afternoon in 1983, in which Dahl must decide how to handle the scandal that could sink his career. Residents strikes back

Ilkeston, Derbyshire have comfortably sized houses in a quiet corner of the East Midlands.  People whose ages ranging from 49 to 68 took it upon themselves to strike back when the council stopped mowing the communal green space opposite their redbrick houses as part of a borough-wide rewilding scheme. As the grass reached hip height, fears of dog poo, litter and ticks spread. Airbus Beluga delivers parts for BA at Heathrow

The World’s strangest-looking plane Airbus Beluga, which got its name because of its resemblence to the species of whale, landed at Heathrow Airport at 11:04 on Monday carrying spare parts from Toulouse to repair a damaged British Airways plane that has been left stranded at Heathrow since April after a minor collison at the airport. Wirecard executives fined €140 million

Ex-Wirecard boss Markus Braum and two other executives have been ordered to pay €140 million plus interest in damages to defunct payment Group’s administrator over violations of professional duties. The Board’s decision was “untenable and at odds with the duty of care of a prudent businessman”. In the civil suit brought by  Wirecard Administrator, Michael Jaffe, Markus Braun, former CFO Alexander von Knoop, and former CPO Susanne Steidi have been found personally liable for losses from unsecured loans to allegedly fraudulent business partners in Asia.
