Raindance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the UK. The 32nd edition of the Raindance Film Festival 2024 contains a selection prioritises the work of first and second-time filmmakers like never before, including the UK premiers of Cuckoo, The Strangers’ Case, The Quiet Maid, Searching For Amani and Body Odyssey.
This festival has “migrated away from the autumn” and host cinemas are Curzon Mayfair, Curzon
Soho, Prince Charles Cinema (off Leicester Square) and Genesis Cinema – East London. The opening night is screening “Cuckoo” at the Curzon Mayfair followed by a Q and A with Director Tilman Singer and Party on 19 June. There will also be a closing night film and party showing “The National Anthem” – a forerunner for Pride in London week. . Ninety percent of the films screening in competition are debut features.

This year’s Guest of Honour at the Raindance 32nd London Film Festival is Germany. Screenings include “Eternal You”, “Falling into Place”, “It’s Burning” and “What You See of Me”.
