Kolkata Knight Riders led by Shreyas Dyer defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India to claim their third IPL title.

Mitchell Stars bowled Sunrise’s opener Abhishek Sharma in the first over, which they never recovered and eventually bowled out for 113, their lowest total in an IPL final.  Every KKR bowler took a wicket with Andre Russell claiming 3-19.

For KKR Venkatesh Iyer hit an unbeaten 52 from 26b balls in a stand of 91 with Rahmanullah Gurbaz, helping  them to race their target in 10.3 overs.
