A United Airlines Boeing 757-200, flight from San Francisco to Boston was forced to land in Denver on Monday because of an issue with the plane’s wing. The plane was carrying 165 passengers landed in Denver safely. Chicago-based United did not say what caused the damage which left pieces of the slat torn away.
“Just about to land in Denver with the wing coming apart on the plane” said 67-year-old passenger Kevin Clarke from Maine after the plane was shaking in a video shared.
One of the pilots walked down the aisle of the main cabin , then retuned to cockpit and announce that the plane had minor damage to its right wing and the flight would be diverted to Denver.
