All 370 passengers and crew were evacuae safely from Japan Airlines which went up in smoke.

All runways at Tokyo Haneda Airport are closed as Japan Airlines plane went up in smoke on Tuesday evening. All 379 passengers and crew on board were safely evacuated on inflatable slides. Fire crews were working on the runway as most of the airlines fusalge were on fire. Japan Airlines fligt 515 originating from Shin-Chitose ariport, near Sapporo in the Japanese island of Hokkaldo, collided into a coast guard aircraft on its way to Nilgata Airport to deliver aid to the earthquake-hit Noto penninsula and both burst into flames as Japanese Airlines plane was taxing the runway after landing. Flames and smoke emrging from the wing area asit travelling along the tarmac.
