Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 128

Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul smashed centuries each as India made nine wins from nine games  with a 16-run victory over minnows Netherlands. Top three batsman made fifties followed by a 208-run stand between Shreyas (128*) and Rahul (102) to take India to 410-4 their second highest World Cup total. Rahul also had a 62-ball ton the fastest at world Cup. In response Netherlands were all out for 250. However, Virat Kohli who was bowled by Roelof van der Merwe for 51 from 56 balls failed to make his 50th one-day international century to surpass Sachin Tendulkar’s record.

India meet New Zealand in the Semi-final in Mumbai on Wednesday.
