GUARDIAN CODE FILM REVIEW by  Penny Nair Price

A FILM I GUARANTEE WILL ENCHANT AND ENTHRALL “CHILDREN” OF  ALL AGES!

I do not think I have ever met anyone or heard anyone say that they don’t like bears – but I live in the UK so we do not have any wild ones here!  The three main stars in the animated Boonie Bears: Guardian Code are a mother and two male bear cubs – Barbara, Briar and Bramble who live in a happy place called Crystal Peaks until things suddenly turn nasty when a fire breaks out.  The two bear cubs see their mother through the flames walking away in the opposite direction to them and the two run for their lives.

Like all good childrens’ stories, there is a quite vast element of strife, struggle, bad guys, retribution, good guys and this all adds to the drama especially in this fast paced film with much action, “outside the box” machines and characters whilst Briar and Bramble are so cute we are looking out for them all the way through the saga.

Childrens’ stories, not to mention modern adult fantasy fiction (Sci fi for example) give us freedom to imagine other galaxies, other world characters and events and heroes and villains as real and they are all vital to a gripping plot!  The love by the bears for their mother pervades the theme as well as a magical amber necklace which their mother used to wear which contains a star and a moon in eclipse and it has lots of strange and special powers, and lets say that most of us adore an amulet which is special.

When you go to cinemas to watch this film, with family and friends of all ages, be prepared to be so engrossed with the narrative you won’t want to miss a trick!  At times a tear jerker at times full of googly love and drama, and at times packed to the brim with awe inspiring action, that is not all!  The additional characters who are all tied up with the missing mother of the bears – Barbara –  are at one time good and then some seeming to be double agents.

Like all the best stories, the positive, the love and the durability of a conflict not only pervades but ends up as the saving grace of by now such lovable characters we want to buy miniatures to take home and keep.  Go on the website of Boonie Bears: Guardian Code to see where and when you can enjoy this mesmerising and ultimately feel good factor film!
