2023 Mardi Gras Parade  ( Fat Tuesday Parade on 21^st February 2023) , based on a religious event and falls on the Tuesday before Lent begins in the Christian Calendar, at  the French Quarter in New Orleans where the whole city goes wild. The Tuesday also known as Shrove Tuesday and the Wednesday known as Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of fasting in the run up to Easter, 46 days later.
