Filmed mainly in Hungary, Italy Abu Dhabi and Africa, this sequel is based onthe book by Frank Herbert which was written in the 60’s. On scenery alone it isenchanting, taking place almost entirely in the desert and the characterisationsof a team of stars fitting into the partly science fiction plot but also relyingheavily on reality as we know it is vast.
