The Savoy luggage porter got inspired to start luxury Gucci brand

Founder of Gucci, Guccio worked at London’s The Savoy as a luggage porter and elevator operator.  The young porter gained direct access to the tastes and needs of elite travelling customers, escorting them from floor to floor.
