Verstappen wins Qatar F1 Grand Prix

Picture Rajiv Nair Max Verstappen of Red Bull won the Qatar Grand Prix marred by three race safety cars, a ten-second stop-and-go penalty in breach of failing to slow for yellow flags,  for McLaren’s  Lando Norris. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz both suffered punctures caused by debris from a wing mirror that had been lying on the pit straight for about three laps before it was smashed by Valtteri Bottas’ Sauber. Verstappen wins F1 Championship four times

Max Verstappen finishes one place ahead of Norris in fifth to officially wins his fourth world championship title at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and became on the most successful drivers of all time as a four-time champion. Russel wins Las Vegas Grand Prix in Mercedes one-two beating Hamilton by 7.3 seconds. Ferrari pair Sainz and Leclerc  overtook Verstappen late on. Verstappen wins Bahrain F1 Grand Prix

Max Verstappen of Red Bull  wins Formula 1 in the season opening Bahrain Grand Prix, his 55th grand prix victory, brushing off controversy surrounding his team principal Christian Horner who has been at the centre of a complaint of inappropriate behaviour from a female colleague for the last month.  He dominated and overcame Ferrari challenge from Charles Leclerc early on.
