Volcano erupted for the third time in the Reykjanes peninsula since December, with lava flowing near crucial pipelines close to the Svartsengi power station. Aerial video reveals  a new 3km(1.8m) long fissure, a crack in the Earth’s surface -spraying streams of lava high up into the air. Smoke could be seen in the capital, Reykjavik, 25 miles away.
