Unilever’s Ice cream businesses valued around €17 bn to be sold

Unilever plans to hive off it’s ice cream business including Walls and Ben & Jerry’s. Unilever is drumming up interest from private equity groups for its ice cream division after the consumer goods business announced  plans to hive off the unit. Both Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan had reached out to buy out investors to solicit interest for  popular ice cream brands  like Wall’s Magnum and Ben & Gerry’s valued at around €17 bn. Nivdia focuses on AI dominance through their new chip

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia heralded the new era of computing, after unveiling their new Blackwell chip B200 GPU, the world’s most powerful chip  and software for running AI,  said, it would vastly boost the power driving large language models, as it has over 208 billion transistors compared with 80billion in last year’s H100. Hippos are world’s most endangered animals. Illegal and unregulated trophy hunting for hippo skin, meat and especially ivory-bearing teeth is emerging as main factor for hippos the ancient species to the brink of extinction, if this is not controlled urgently. Hippos need our help. Hippo placing has intensified within some of Uganda’s national parks, As bans on elephant ivory are being tightened poachers are killing hippos for their teeth. United Airlines Boeing landed without panel in Oregon

A 25-year-old Boeing 737-800 plane United Airlines flight 433, from San Francisco landed at the Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, Oregon, at 11:30 (8:30GMT) on Friday, without one of its fuselage panels. The plane was carrying 139 passengers and 6 crew, landed safely as no one was injured. Boeing is under extreme scrutiny after a series of high profile safety incidents.  According to Amber Judd a senior official at Rogue Valley International Medford Airport, the plane landed safely and the external panel was only discovered missing during a post-flight inspection. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day

Saint Patrick’s Day celebrated on 17th March around the work. To celebrate in towns and cities across Ireland, Northern Ireland, England. There are parades in Chichester Street, Victoria Street, Castle Place and Donegal Place in Belfast, and Shipquay Street, Whitaker Street, Foyle Embankment and Harbour Square in Londonderry. Landmarks around the world, such as the Sydney Opera House, and  the Empire State Building are lit up green and the Chicago River is traditionally dyed green to mark the day. Southern Iceland Lava triggers a state of Emergency

Lava reached the eastern town of Grindavik in Iceland who has declared a state of emergency, the fourth since December. Lava flows which began late on Saturday  was 200m ( 650 feet) from the region’s water pipe which is also close to the Svartsengi power plant, a geothermal plant that provides hot water for most of the Reykjanes Peninsula. The head of department at the Norwegian Meteorological agency said there could be dangerous consequences if lava reaches the sea as it flows southwards.
