EyeBio a London Biotech business co-founded by Britain’s vaccine tsar Kate Bingham, has been bought by Merck, US company, In UK MSD and would pay £1bn ($1.3bn)  with a further $1.7bn expected if certain targets are met. Czech billionaire buys Royal Mail for £3.6billion

Royal Mail’s owner has agreed to a £3.6billion  takeover bid by Czech tycoon Daniel Křetínský, another British organisation under foreign ownership. Parent firm international Distribution Services (IDS) said its board of directors had approved  the billionaire’s offer which was received earlier this month.  The deal values the business at £5.3billion including debt and Daniel Křetínský, EP Group must guarantee a series of contractual commitments and intentions to protect Royal Mail’s public service duties such as its one-price-goes-anywhere  first-class post six days week. Criminal charges dropped against World No1 professional Golfer

Twenty-seven-year old, Scott Alexander Scheffler, born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, American professional golfer, currently ranked World number one. Iceland volcanic eruption

A volcanic eruption has begun in Iceland’s southwestern peninsula, throwing up 50  meters of plumes of magma and ash. This is the fifth time since December an eruption has taken place in the highly volcanically active peninsula. Fissure is growing for more than 1.5 miles  at 12:00 local time near Sundhnuksgigar, north of the village of Grindavik, according to authorities. A complete evacuation of the Blue Lagoon, the geothermal spa and Iceland’s largest tourist attraction, as a precaution.  Four thousand residents of Grindavik were permanently evacuated in last November, before significant eruption began.
