ARM ready for IPO launch

Japanese Conglomerate SoftBank  takes full control of Arm, a British semiconductor and software design company based in Cambridge, England whose primary business is the design of ARM processors which feature in the latest cutting-edge technology smartphones including Apple, Samsung with secure architecture built for performance and power efficiency. Soft bank acquired a 25 per cent of Arm which it did not already own from the Vision Fund the $100bn Saudi-backed vehicle managed by SoftBank. Arm is at a $64bn valuation. Tenants living in a lean-to shack made out of pallets and tarpaulin

Amid Credit crunch and cost of living crisis landlord Jaydipkumar Rameshchandra Valand was caught packing 40 tenants into a four-bedroomed house in Napier Road, Wembley, back in 2018,  raking £360, 000. Enforcement officers discovered one of the Napier Road Tenants living in a lean-to shack made out of pellets and tarpaulin with no heating or lighting, discovered several fire safety regulations, accumulating waste, disrepairs and unhygienic confidition while Valand pocketed £1, 400 a month from tenants living in unsafe conditions without tenancy agreements.  He was fined £30, 000 and ordered to pay £3,347 in costs by Willesden Magistrates Court. England roars into World Cup final

England crashed Australia’s party in Sydney in front of 75, 784 home crowd as they reached the Women’s World Cup final and will meet Spain on Sunday. England’s 3-1 win over Australia in the semi-final ensured Wiegman is the first coach to take two countries to the final of the tournament, having led the Netherlands to the 2019 final. Wilko, one of the biggest discount retailer has gone into administration, with a loss of 12, 500 jobs after the failure of rescue bids. This follows recent high profile collapses of Sir Philip Green’s retail empire and department store chain Debenhams. Halifax data reveals house prices are declining  in UK edging down as average prices fell 0.3 per cent last month and in July to an average £285, 044, egging first time buyers to be more resilient. Data confirms annual fall in July of 2.4 per cent, slower than the 2.6 per cent rate of decline reported in June, and less than the 3.8 per cent reported by Nationwide.
